Dr. Toufic Kachaamy, enterprise program leader, Interventional Programs and medical director of Gastroenterology at Cancer Treatment Centers of America® (CTCA) Phoenix discussed an upcoming continuing medical education course that he helped develop for clinicians who have a hand in treating gastrointestinal cancers. The course titled "Interventional Gastroenterology and Multidisciplinary Gastrointestinal Cancer Care" is designed to improve the knowledge base of the oncology multidisciplinary team about the expanding role and procedures of interventional endoscopy in cancer care with focus on gastrointestinal malignancies.
