Gloria Barnes, MSN, RN, Director of Quality and Risk, Cancer Treatment Centers of America® (CTCA), Atlanta is the recipient of the DAISY Nurse Leader Award for Extraordinary Nurses. This prestigious award is given to nurses who have provided extraordinary compassionate care. Barnes was recognized for her leadership throughout the pandemic, highlighted by designing and operating the hospital’s vaccination clinic which administered every COVID-19 vaccine does it received.
