Dr. Stacie J. Stephenson is a recognized physician and lecturer focused on regenerative, functional and natural medicine. A doctor of chiropractic medicine and practitioner of functional medicine, she spent close to 15 years in private practice, providing supportive therapies to patients with chronic disease before joining Cancer Treatment Centers of America® (CTCA) in 2013.

Sharing CTCA's dedication to patient-centered care, Dr. Stephenson contributed to the evolution of the comprehensive cancer care network's "care team" approach, which integrates the full range of cancer treatment and care expertise into a personalized, multidisciplinary treatment plan tailored to each patient's needs.

In collaboration with her integrative care colleagues, Dr. Stephenson advises CTCA® leadership on the design of continuing education, professional development and certification programs in supportive therapies dedicated to enhancing patients' quality of life through treatment and in recovery. She also established and administers an annual scholarship fund to support CTCA staff pursuing higher education in integrative and functional medicine disciplines.

A certified nutrition specialist, certified functional medicine practitioner and Diplomate of the American Board of Anti-Aging Health Practitioners, Dr. Stephenson is the founder and CEO of VibrantDoc, a health and wellness media venture. She is also the author of Vibrant: A Groundbreaking Program to Get Energized, Own Your Health, and Glow.

Dr. Stephenson is a respected public speaker who has delivered lectures on such topics as genomics, personalized lifestyle medicine and supportive dietary and nutritional strategies for enhancing health and wellness and managing chronic disease.

Dr. Stephenson obtained a bachelor's degree in community health from the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Urbana-Champaign and a Bachelor of Science degree in human biology from the National University of Health Sciences. She continued her education at St. Matthew's University School of Medicine and received a doctor of chiropractic medicine from Northwestern Health Sciences University. She also completed post-graduate work at Adler Graduate School, where she studied cognitive and behavioral assessment.
