Danny Nguyen, M.D., is a medical hematologist-oncologist at City of Hope® Cancer Center Duarte. Dr. Nguyen believes in a compassionate, communicative approach to care centered on providing thorough answers to the important questions patients bring to him. He also values strong collaboration with fellow physicians, knowing that building the right care team is essential to delivering the best outcomes for everyone.
Dr. Nguyen completed his fellowship in oncology and hematology at the H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, Florida and his internal medicine residency at Emory University in Atlanta. His medical degree was completed at University of South Florida in Tampa. He is committed to reducing inequalities in cancer treatment by expanding access to leading-edge therapies through clinical trials, particularly for the Orange County community.
Dr. Nguyen speaks conversational Vietnamese and enjoys quality time with his family.
