VP, Patient Care Services, and Chief Nursing Officer, Georgia Market
In November 2020, Regina Brigman-Lake, MSN, RN, was named Vice President of Patient Care Services and Chief Nursing Officer at Cancer Treatment Centers of America® (CTCA), Atlanta, part of City of Hope. In her role, Brigman-Lake oversees the delivery of patient care, patient satisfaction, nursing and nursing practice throughout the Atlanta hospital, while empowering and coaching others to achieve personal and organizational goals. She is committed to delivering a compassionate excellence that transforms the patient experience. In particular, she manages surgical services, inpatient services, house supervisors, discharge planning, utilization management, respiratory therapy, infusion, wound care, quality, medical staff office, education, patient safety and risk management. She was also responsible for leading the team to coveted Magnet® designation using an inclusive and collaborative process.
Prior to this role, Brigman-Lake served as the Director of Perioperative Services at CTCA® Atlanta, where she gained leadership experience by leading direct day-to-day administrative and operational functions for a seven-room surgical/endoscopy suite and providing guidance and direction to over 40 employees. She also draws on her years of experience as a Same Day Surgery Director, Charge RN and Operating Room Supervisor to inform her decisions in her current role.
Brigman-Lake earned her Bachelor of Science in nursing from The Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, South Carolina. She later received her Master of Science degree in nursing from Walden University in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
