CTCA Ranks First Among Major US Hospitals in 2017 Year-End Assessment of Consumer Sentiment

Corporate | January 30, 2018

Cancer Treatment Centers of America® (CTCA) today announced it ranked number one in YouGov’s 2017 BrandIndex assessment of consumer sentiment toward 42 major US hospitals and hospital systems for the third year in a row. The Buzz rankings, based on approximately 22,000 interviews with US adults between January and December 2017, placed CTCA® ahead of other highly regarded hospital systems including Mayo Clinic, John Hopkins Medicine, Cleveland Clinic and University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center.

“Cancer Treatment Centers of America has consistently ranked highly in consumer perceptions among all brands in recent years, which is a testament to how positively their efforts have resonated with individuals touched by cancer,” said YouGov BrandIndex CEO Ted Marzilli.

“This recognition reflects our resolute commitment to delivering the highest quality care for our patients,” said Peter Yesawich, Chief Growth Officer of CTCA. “It reaffirms our clinical teams’ dedication to helping patients fight their disease with the latest treatment options while focusing on their quality of life both during and after treatment.”

This is the third consecutive year CTCA is ranked first in YouGov’s BrandIndex Buzz Rankings, which asked consumers, “If you've heard anything about the brand in the last two weeks, through advertising, news or word of mouth, was it positive or negative?” to compile scores.
