Boston Children's Hospital is dedicated to improving and advancing the health and well-being of children around the world through its life-changing work in clinical care, biomedical research, medical education and community engagement.
When it comes to your child’s care, you want the best.
For the ninth year in a row, Boston Children’s is the number one pediatric hospital in the nation according to U.S. News & World Report. The report ranks Boston Children’s in the top three spots in all 10 pediatric specialties, including number one in pediatric cancer care.
We are home to the world's largest pediatric research enterprise and the leading recipient of pediatric research funding from the National Institutes of Health. We are also the primary pediatric teaching hospital for Harvard Medical School and treat more children with rare diseases and complex conditions than any other hospital.
We offer an unrivaled breadth of treatment options for children and young adults with cancer and blood disorders — from standard protocols and advanced therapies to clinical trials. Our patients receive truly comprehensive care thanks to our vast subspecialty resources, which include neurologists, orthopedists, diagnostic imaging specialists and pathologists.
We're here to guide your child and family every step of the way: through diagnosis, treatment and survivorship.
Our pediatric cancer treatment programs and services include:
Our Blood Disorders Center provides comprehensive services in diagnosis, treatment and prevention of a wide range of nonmalignant blood disorders.
Our Brain Tumor Center is a world-renowned destination for children with malignant and non-malignant brain and spinal cord tumors.
The Hematologic Malignancy Center is one of the top pediatric leukemia and lymphoma treatment centers in the world.
The Liver Tumor Program cares for patients with all types of liver tumor, both benign and malignant.
The Solid Tumor Center treats children and teens with a variety of solid tumors and cancers that occur in the bones, tissues or organs.
After treatment, we continue to care for your child through our pediatric survivorship programs. We monitor your child's health regularly to manage disease complications and late effects of treatment. Children and families also have access to support groups and counseling to help the transition from cancer treatment to life after treatment.
Boston Children’s is one of the largest pediatric medical centers in the United States with more than 40 clinical departments and 258 specialized clinical programs.
Every day, families like yours look to Boston Children's for answers, treatment and hope.
And every day, they inspire us to meet that challenge by seeing beyond the limitations the rest of the world places on what's possible. To solve unsolvable problems and to find answers to unanswerable questions.
Our patients inspire us to be creative and research the answers to unanswerable questions. They inspire us to do more as a team than any of us could possibly achieve as individuals. And they inspire us to believe that we can do more — that we must do more — for them and for each and every child in our care.
Our audacious goal is to always be a leader for your child and for children's health everywhere.
