LUNG FORCE

The American Lung Association and City of Hope partner nationally, as well as through regional charters, to support LUNG FORCE, an initiative to raise awareness about lung cancer as the No. 1 killer of women.

According to the American Lung Association’s website:

• Every five minutes, a woman in the United States is told she has lung cancer.
• The number of women dying from lung cancer each year has nearly doubled over the past 30 years.
• Anyone can get lung cancer.
