At Cancer Treatment Centers of America® (CTCA), Phoenix, our reconstructive surgeons focus on repairing, reconstructing and restoring areas of the body that have developed physical defects as a result of cancer treatment or the cancer itself. Some reconstructive surgeries are performed to improve function, while others may be designed to restore a more normal appearance. The skilled reconstructive surgeons at our Phoenix hospital have years of experience in performing a variety of surgical procedures on all areas of the human body.
Cancer patients often have scars and defects that affect the way some patients feel about themselves. Reconstructive surgery may be an option for some of those patients, including those with breast, head and neck cancers. Our reconstructive surgeons at CTCA® Phoenix may perform a variety of surgical procedures designed to restore the patient’s physical function and/or his or her appearance.
