At Cancer Treatment Centers of America® (CTCA), Phoenix, our orthopedic oncology team focuses on primary bone cancers, soft tissue sarcomas, metastatic cancers that spread to the bone and orthopedic problems that may develop as a result of cancer. These cancers may require a combination of treatments and therapies.
Orthopedic oncologists at our Phoenix hospital meet with patients to discuss their diagnosis and provide a variety of treatment options personalized to their needs. Depending on the type and stage of your cancer, your orthopedic oncologist may recommend more than one type of treatment. At CTCA® Phoenix, our doctors and clinicians are dedicated to comprehensive, integrative cancer treatment. This personalized approach treats not just the cancer, but the person fighting it. To determine an appropriate combination of treatments and side-effect management therapies, the doctors and clinicians at our Phoenix hospital listen to patients, educating them and empowering them to take an active role in their treatment decision-making process.
