Once your Oncology Information Specialist verifies your insurance benefits with you, you are ready to schedule your first appointment.
One of our schedulers will contact you to schedule your initial appointment, based on what is first available, what time works best for you and the date of your last treatment (if applicable). If you live within a 100-mile radius of the hospital and meet other qualifications, we may be able to schedule your appointment within 24 hours of your contacting us. Learn about our 24-hour appointment program.
We’ll coordinate your visit and handle all of the details, to make the process as easy, stress-free and affordable as possible. Your first visit generally lasts about three days, which will include an initial consultation leading up to your individualized treatment plan. For patients needing specialized testing, the initial consultation time frame may be extended.
If you’re seeking a second opinion, it may be difficult to find time for another appointment. To accommodate your schedule, we may be able to offer a one-day second opinion consultation on a timeline that works for you.
