Tracy Bolton, Nurse Practitioner at Cancer Treatment Centers of America® (CTCA) has a diverse background in health care. Bolton joined CTCA® Atlanta in 2013 as a registered nurse. After furthering her education and completing her nurse practitioner certification, she transitioned to a new role as a nurse practitioner working with thoracic patients.

At CTCA, Bolton administers immunotherapy, chemotherapy and helps with patients enrolled in the TAPUR clinical trial. “I educate patients on different treatments and technologies because I believe each patient should be their own health care advocate,” says Bolton. “My overall goal for patients is that they are well informed and involved in their care, so that they can focus on fighting their disease.”

Bolton earned her Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from Chamberlain College of Nursing in Downers Grove, Illinois. She went on to earn a Master of Science degree in nursing from the same school. In 2007, Bolton began her career in nursing and has continued to grow her passion to care for patients.  In 2017, Bolton was certified as a nurse practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.

Outside of CTCA, Bolton enjoys spending time with family and friends. She also likes to watch NFL football.

Patient ratings
Star ratings and comments are only available for medical, radiation and gynecologic oncologists. Gynecologic surgical offerings are not included at this time due to a different survey tool required to evaluate these services. CTCA uses a validated Press Ganey® survey, which captures patient experience feedback for the primary oncology services of chemotherapy and radiation therapy at our comprehensive care and research centers. Following industry best practice, star ratings and comments are only published for physicians with a minimum of 30 completed patient surveys.
