Stacy Newberry joined Cancer Treatment Centers of America® (CTCA) in Tulsa, Oklahoma, in August 2013. Newberry first began at the hospital in the stem cell unit directing care of both inpatients and outpatients. After furthering her education and training, Newberry moved into the role of Clinical Nurse Specialist in the clinic in 2018, where she is part of a multidisciplinary team focused on helping patients understand their cancer and treatment options.

Newberry works closely with patients to help them maintain their desired quality of life before, during and following cancer treatment. She educates and encourages patients to use the supportive care services offered at CTCA® to manage cancer-related side effects.

“At CTCA, we go the extra mile to care for our patients,” says Newberry. “We not only fight cancer, but we also provide extra care and support to help reduce side effects of cancer treatment. That’s how and why CTCA is unique.”

Newberry earned her Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from the University of Oklahoma Health Science Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She went on to earn a Master of Science degree in nursing from the University of South Alabama in Mobile, Alabama.

Newberry began her career as a registered nurse in 1992. She worked in oncology as a registered nurse for several years in various hospital and clinic settings prior to joining CTCA.

Newberry has a high school-aged daughter and enjoys spending time with her. She also likes reading, traveling and caring for her dog.
Patient ratings
Star ratings and comments are only available for medical, radiation and gynecologic oncologists. Gynecologic surgical offerings are not included at this time due to a different survey tool required to evaluate these services. CTCA uses a validated Press Ganey® survey, which captures patient experience feedback for the primary oncology services of chemotherapy and radiation therapy at our comprehensive care and research centers. Following industry best practice, star ratings and comments are only published for physicians with a minimum of 30 completed patient surveys.
