Nicole Beltran is a Nurse Practitioner in the Urology Department at Cancer Treatment Centers of America ® (CTCA), Chicago. She joined the hospital in May 2018. “Helping cancer patients and their families is meaningful work that I am proud to do,” says Beltran.

At CTCA®, Beltran focuses on treating patients with urologic cancers, including prostate, kidney, bladder and testicular cancer. She also assists patients facing other diseases, such as kidney stones, kidney and bladder infections, incontinence, erectile dysfunction and prostate disorders.

Beltran is part of a wider multidisciplinary care team, led by a medical oncologist and coordinated by a care manager. “It is a joy to work in an environment where the entire team is dedicated to compassionate patient care,” says Beltran. “We put patients at the center of their care, treating the disease and managing side effects so they can enjoy a positive quality of life.”

Beltran earned her Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana. She then earned a Master of Science degree focused on family nurse practitioner studies from Olivet Nazarene University in Bourbonnais, Illinois. She is a certified family nurse practitioner by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.

Prior to coming to CTCA, Beltran gained experience in several hospital and health care settings, caring for patients with serious illnesses.

Beltran is married with two children. She likes to be outdoors and enjoys activities, such as camping, fishing, hiking and gardening.  Beltran also enjoys rooting for the Chicago Cubs.

Patient ratings
Star ratings and comments are only available for medical, radiation and gynecologic oncologists. Gynecologic surgical offerings are not included at this time due to a different survey tool required to evaluate these services. CTCA uses a validated Press Ganey® survey, which captures patient experience feedback for the primary oncology services of chemotherapy and radiation therapy at our comprehensive care and research centers. Following industry best practice, star ratings and comments are only published for physicians with a minimum of 30 completed patient surveys.
