In March 2021, Dr. Lata Aluri joined Cancer Treatment Centers of America® (CTCA) at the Outpatient Care Center in Gilbert, Arizona. The center offers medical consultations, chemotherapy, immunotherapy and supportive care services in an outpatient setting, delivered by a team of experts who work closely with one another to understand each patient’s individual diagnosis and needs.

Dr. Aluri is dedicated to providing cancer care that’s compassionate and personalized. She believes that patients benefit from whole-person care at CTCA®, which not only fights cancer but helps improve quality of life. Dr. Aluri treats many different cancer types, including solid tumors and hematologic malignancies.

“Oncology is a constantly evolving field, and I strive to provide for my patients treatments that are centered on evidence-based medicine and the latest scientific literature,” says Dr. Aluri. “I believe the multidisciplinary approach and active collaboration among team members at CTCA helps patients achieve positive outcomes and quality of life.”

Board certified in medical oncology, hematology and internal medicine, Dr. Aluri earned a medical degree from Gandhi Medical College in Hyderabad, India. She completed an internal medicine residency at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign College of Medicine in Urbana, Illinois, then completed a fellowship in hematology/oncology at the University of Missouri School of Medicine in Columbia, Missouri. She is also a member of several of professional medical organizations, including the American Society of Clinical Oncology, American Society of Hematology, American College of Physicians and American Medical Association.

Dr. Aluri loves spending time with her husband and two children. She also enjoys traveling, cooking, dancing and listening to music.
