In August 2019, Kothai Divya Pragatheeshwar joined Cancer Treatment Centers of America® (CTCA) in Tulsa, Oklahoma. As a nephrologist, Dr. Pragatheeshwar evaluates and treats patients who have kidney or hypertension-related issues as a result of chemotherapy or the cancer itself. She works with her patients to develop a personalized treatment plan to meet their unique needs and goals.

At CTCA®, Dr. Pragatheeshwar is determined to help patients aggressively fight the disease and manage their quality of life.

And she empowers her patients to take an active role in the treatment decision-making process. Dr. Pragatheeshwar wants patients and their family members to feel comfortable taking the time they need to ask questions and share their concerns.

Dr. Pragatheeshwar earned a medical degree from Stanley Medical College in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. She completed a fellowship in nephrology at the University of Oklahoma in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Dr. Pragatheeshwar is board certified in internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine. She is an active member of several professional organizations including American College of Physicians, American Society of Nephrology and National Kidney Foundation. Dr. Pragatheeshwar is an Assistant Professor teaching nephrology at the University of Oklahoma.

Outside of CTCA, Dr. Pragatheeshwar enjoys spending time with friends and family. She is married with two children and is often involved with her children’s activities.

Patient ratings
Star ratings and comments are only available for medical, radiation and gynecologic oncologists. Gynecologic surgical offerings are not included at this time due to a different survey tool required to evaluate these services. CTCA uses a validated Press Ganey® survey, which captures patient experience feedback for the primary oncology services of chemotherapy and radiation therapy at our comprehensive care and research centers.
