For Dr. Keith Simmons, Neurologist at Cancer Treatment Centers of America® (CTCA) in Tulsa, quality care is about supporting patients. “I guide patients, offer options and help them achieve quality of life,” says Dr. Simmons.

Dr. Simmons earned a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the College of Osteopathic Medicine at Oklahoma State University, where he also received his Bachelor of Science degree. After a rotating internship at Tulsa Regional Medical Center (now called Oklahoma State University Medical Center), Dr. Simmons served as resident in internal medicine at the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine. He also completed a three-year residency in neurology at the University of Kansas Medical Center, serving as chief resident in his final year.

He also helps to see that patients receive follow-up care for neurological issues that may arise after treatment. He brings a wide range of skills to his practice, including experience in providing electro-diagnosis and neurology consultation.

Dr. Simmons is certified in neurology and psychiatry by the American Board of Neurology & Psychiatry.

When he is not at CTCA, Dr. Simmons enjoys spending time with his wife and two sons, whether by the soccer field or by the lake. He is also learning to play the guitar.

Patient ratings
Star ratings and comments are only available for medical, radiation and gynecologic oncologists. Gynecologic surgical offerings are not included at this time due to a different survey tool required to evaluate these services. CTCA uses a validated Press Ganey® survey, which captures patient experience feedback for the primary oncology services of chemotherapy and radiation therapy at our comprehensive care and research centers. Following industry best practice, star ratings and comments are only published for physicians with a minimum of 30 completed patient surveys.
