Urologic Oncology Surgeon
Donald Hannoun, M.D., is a urologic surgeon and assistant clinical professor of urology and urologic oncology at City of Hope® Antelope Valley and City of Hope Santa Clarita.
Dr. Hannoun earned his medical degree from the Keck School of Medicine of USC in Los Angeles, where he also completed his internship and residency. During his time there, he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society and received several distinctions, including the Dean’s Recognition Award and the Intern of the Year honor from the Department of General Surgery. In 2009, he was named Resident Teacher of the Year by USC’s Department of Urology.
An active participant in a number of professional societies, including the American Urological Association and the Los Angeles Urological Society, Dr. Hannoun is also a physician-scholar whose work has appeared in numerous academic publications and been presented at regional and national conferences. Dr. Hannoun is known not only for his surgical expertise, but also for his compassionate approach to patient care.
