Dr. Damon Brooks joined Cancer Treatment Centers of America® (CTCA) in June 2009. As a Radiologist at the Tulsa hospital, Dr. Brooks uses imaging to help guide the diagnosis and treatment of cancer for patients.

Board certified in diagnostic radiology from the American Osteopathic Board of Radiology, Dr. Brooks has been working with the imaging department at CTCA® since June 2009. He is part of the team of doctors, nurses and clinicians providing whole-person cancer care.

“The field of radiology is constantly evolving, and new technologies are always available. Recently, CTCA Tulsa added breast tomosynthesis as an option,” says Dr. Brooks. “I believe it is so important for doctors and cancer care centers to stay up-to-date on the latest advances in radiology to benefit patients.” 

Dr. Brooks received Bachelor of Science degree from Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, Texas. He earned a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth, Texas. Dr. Brooks completed a residency in radiology at Oklahoma State University Medical Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He then completed a fellowship in body imaging at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas.

Dr. Brooks has an interest in clinical research and has contributed to published articles and presentations. He is an active member of several professional organizations, including the American Osteopathic College of Radiology, American College of Radiology and Texas Medical Association.

Outside of CTCA, Dr. Brooks likes spending time with his family. Together they enjoy outdoor activities, camping, playing sports and raising chickens.

Star ratings and comments are only available for medical, radiation and gynecologic oncologists.
