Assistant Vice President of General Services
Julie Pendleton, MBA, is the Assistant Vice President of General Services at Cancer Treatment Centers of America® (CTCA), Chicago.
Ms. Pendleton joined CTCA® in 1990 as a medical technician in the laboratory. Her leadership skills and business acumen led her to assume the additional role of Laboratory Safety Officer where she developed an affinity for advocating for both patient and employee safety. Since 2001, Ms. Pendleton has held various positions focused on hospital safety and security. In 2013, she assumed the role of Assistant Vice President of General Services to expand her ability to influence hospital safety, emergency management and general services such as scheduling, culinary, transportation and switchboard at CTCA Chicago.
Ms. Pendleton holds her Master in Business Administration degree and Certificate of Health Services from the Keller Graduate School of Management. She has completed the CTCA Accelerated Development Program (ADP) and is Six Sigma Green Belt Certified. She is a Registered Healthcare Safety Officer, an IAHSS-certified Hospital Protection Administrator, an Outdoor Emergency Technician and a National Ski Patrol Instructor. She serves on the Board of Directors for NorthPointe Resources, a nonprofit that empowers individuals with disabilities. She organizes community food drives and serves on the board for the Wilmot Ski Patrol Association.
