Chief Technology Officer

An accomplished leader in software and product development, Scott Blodgett, MS, MBA, brings more than a decade of technology experience to his role as Chief Technology Officer for Cancer Treatment Centers of America® (CTCA). 

Blodgett joined CTCA® after serving as Chief Technology Officer and Vice President of Software Engineering for Optum Analytics, a division of UnitedHealth Group. His responsibilities there included leading software development, production operations, security, and information technology while leading a 200-person product development team with operations worldwide.

While attending the Rochester Institute of Technology in Rochester, New York, Blodgett earned a Bachelor of Science degree in computer engineering and a Master of Science degree in computer science. He also earned a Master of Business Administration degree from Bentley University in Waltham, Massachusetts. 

Prior to joining Optum, Blodgett served as Vice President of Engineering at Lionbridge Technologies, a worldwide software company specializing in language and translation services, where he led a team of more than 140 professionals in 10 countries in North America, Europe and Asia. 

An avid runner and triathlete who has twice completed the Boston Marathon, Blodgett is also an inventor and holds or co-holds four U.S. patents. He served in the US Army Reserve for 13 years including four years commanding the unit responsible for the repair parts network in Kuwait and Saudi Arabia.
