Ron Gilg joined Cancer Treatment Centers of America® (CTCA) in 2005. He is the Vice President of Talent at CTCA® in Philadelphia

After growing up in Puerto Rico, Gilg attended LaSalle University, where he majored in Psychology. He worked in the mental health field for several years, then received his master’s degree in industrial and organizational development from Temple University.

Gilg held several Talent roles in the retail and banking fields before entering the health care industry in 1990. After serving in various Talent leadership roles at Independence Blue Cross, he joined CTCA, serving as Director of Employee Relations, then as Director of Human Resources. Since joining CTCA, Gilg led the initiatives that resulted in CTCA in Philadelphia receiving the Best Places to Work designation four years in a row (2012-2015), HR Department of the Year Award (2012) and the Healthiest Employer in Philadelphia award (2012, 2014, 2015). Gilg is currently a board member at Esperanza and is a 32° Mason.
