About Marsha

As Vice President Oncology Services / Chief Nursing Officer, Marsha Suber oversees Oncology Clinics, Infusion, Inpatient and Surgery operations, Scheduling, New Patient Experience, Quality and Risk, Medical Staff Office, and Education at Cancer Treatment Centers of America® (CTCA), Atlanta.

Mrs. Suber joined CTCA® Atlanta in 2012 prior to the opening of the hospital. She brings more than 30 years of operational and clinical experience that includes medical, surgical, intensive care, intermediate care, stem cell transplant, emergency services, cardiac, psychiatry, discharge planning, utilization management, risk management, cardiopulmonary and neurology service lines.

Prior to her current role, Mrs. Suber served as Assistant Vice President of Patient Care Services and Director of Quality and Risk, where she oversaw patient safety, occupational health, infection prevention, education and the medical staff office. In this position, she led the hospital through a successful Joint Commission Accreditation Survey in early 2016.

Before joining CTCA, Mrs. Suber held leadership nursing roles at Piedmont Newnan Hospital, Upson Regional and Piedmont Fayette Hospital. She earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix (Phoenix, Ariz.). She also holds an Associate of Science in Nursing from DeKalb College in Clarkston, Ga.

When she’s not working at CTCA, Mrs. Suber enjoys time with her family, cooking, playing golf and cycling. She serves on the board of the Newnan/Coweta Boys & Girls Club of Metro Atlanta and as an Executive Advisory Board member for the Kennesaw State University Healthcare Management and Informatics Program, Coles College of Business.
