Assistant Vice President of Patient Care Services

Lisa Pittman, MSN, RN, MHA, NEA-BC, OCN, is Assistant Vice President of Patient Care Services at Cancer Treatment Centers of America® (CTCA), Chicago.

A nurse for 24 years, almost all of it in oncology, Pittman most recently served as Quality and Engagement Director of Patient Care Services at CTCA® Chicago, where she led teams that earned multiple prestigious national accreditations and designations. She has served in leadership roles for most of her long and distinguished career at hospitals and medical centers throughout Illinois and the Chicago area, mentoring direct-care nurses and helping nurses at all levels further their careers. A tireless advocate for the development, support and education of nurses and others in the medical field, Pittman co-authored several national conference presentations, including those on the CVAD no blood return algorithm and surgical site infection bundle.

As Assistant Vice President of Patient Care Services, Pittman provides leadership and accountability for inpatient services, infusion, occupational health and emergency services. She maintains oversight of the clinical resource center, discharge planning, patient satisfaction, and the quality and patient safety efforts and accreditations.

Pittman earned multiple degrees—Master of Science degrees in Nursing Administration and Health Administration, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Arts—from the University of St. Francis in Joliet, Illinois. She has been a member of multiple nurse executive and leader organizations, including a board member of the Oncology Nursing Society/Chicago Western Suburbs Chapter. She lives in Chicago’s west suburbs, where she enjoys spending time with her family and 6-pound Yorkie, Poo.
