As part of the oncology rehabilitation department at CTCA®, O’Toole helps patients with medical complications and those recovering from surgery. O’Toole customizes physical therapy techniques to meet the specific needs of each individual patient and improve quality of life.

“I strive to provide my patients a positive, encouraging and safe environment for rehabilitation,” says O’Toole. “By understanding my patients and their needs and goals, I can build a personalized physical therapy plan to help them remain active and improve their level of functioning and overall health.”

O’Toole received a Bachelor of Arts degree in theatre at Arizona State University in Tempe, Arizona. She earned a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Texas Woman’s University in Houston, Texas. Outside of CTCA, O’Toole enjoys participating in community service activities. In the past, she has helped prepare and serve meals for families, completed a medical mission trip to Honduras and raised money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society by running the Houston Half Marathon.

Patient ratings
Star ratings and comments are only available for medical, radiation and gynecologic oncologists. Gynecologic surgical offerings are not included at this time due to a different survey tool required to evaluate these services. CTCA uses a validated Press Ganey® survey, which captures patient experience feedback for the primary oncology services of chemotherapy and radiation therapy at our comprehensive care and research centers. Following industry best practice, star ratings and comments are only published for physicians with a minimum of 30 completed patient surveys.
