Young studied at the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia, earning her Bachelor of Science degree in 2004. She completed her Master of Physical Therapy at the same institution in 2006.

Her training included work in acute care at a large hospital, outpatient orthopedics at a private clinic and early intervention at elementary schools

From 2006 to 2009, Young served as a Physical Therapist within a large health system in the Philadelphia area. Later, she worked as a contract Physical Therapist in a variety of settings, including CTCA®. She joined CTCA as a full-time Physical Therapist in March 2014.

Young is a Licensed Physical Therapist by the State of Pennsylvania. She is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association.

At CTCA, Young helps patients become independent in their functional mobility so they can resume the routine activities of daily life. She also educates caregivers on safety measures for patients in need of assistance at home.

Patient ratings
Star ratings and comments are only available for medical, radiation and gynecologic oncologists. Gynecologic surgical offerings are not included at this time due to a different survey tool required to evaluate these services. CTCA uses a validated Press Ganey® survey, which captures patient experience feedback for the primary oncology services of chemotherapy and radiation therapy at our comprehensive care and research centers. Following industry best practice, star ratings and comments are only published for physicians with a minimum of 30 completed patient surveys.
