Danielle Baker is a Physical Therapist at Cancer Treatment Centers of America® (CTCA) in Atlanta, Georgia. She joined CTCA® in October 2017. Baker uses physical therapy techniques to help patients increase their mobility and improve their quality of life through a variety of interventions.
Baker works in the in-patient department helping patients with medical complications or those recovering from surgery, to help them return to their prior level of functioning. She works with patients to help address pain, restore range of motion, improve strength and increase function.
Baker enjoys developing a personalized treatment plan for each of her patients. “I was drawn to join CTCA to deliver the Mother Standard® of care to all of our patients,” she says. “It is the guiding principal at CTCA, to treat all patients the way we would want our mother or another family member to be treated.”
Baker received a Bachelor of Science degree from Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida and a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Miami in Coral Gables, Florida. Prior to joining CTCA, Baker gained clinical experience in a variety of healthcare settings.
Outside work, Baker enjoys spending time with friends and family, especially her daughter. She also likes online shopping, puzzling and being a “cheer mom”.
- Patient ratings
- Star ratings and comments are only available for medical, radiation and gynecologic oncologists. Gynecologic surgical offerings are not included at this time due to a different survey tool required to evaluate these services. CTCA uses a validated Press Ganey® survey, which captures patient experience feedback for the primary oncology services of chemotherapy and radiation therapy at our comprehensive care and research centers. Following industry best practice, star ratings and comments are only published for physicians with a minimum of 30 completed patient surveys.
