At Cancer Treatment Centers of America® (CTCA), we provide state-of-the-art cancer care in a welcoming environment, so you and your family can focus on healing.
We use leading technology to aggressively treat cancer. At the same time, we support you with nutrition and other therapies, because we know that managing the side effects of cancer treatment is half the battle. At CTCA®, you’ll receive continuous care from a dedicated team, including oncologists, surgeons, integrative care clinicians, and a committed pastoral care team. Most or all of your diagnostic testing and treatments take place onsite at our hospital.
More than 95 percent of patients who have treated at CTCA are likely to recommend our hospitals to people they know.
When you are exploring cancer treatment options, you may want to know about issues like life expectancy and quality of life. To help you and your family make more informed decisions about where to treat, we publish our patient survival rates along with quality of life, patient loyalty and speed of care results.
You have a right to know these treatment results and outcomes, so that you are able to choose the best cancer care for you and your family.
Our patients have told us they feel more in control of their treatment when they get their questions answered in a single visit. In addition to meeting with your medical oncologist, clinic nurse and the other members of your medical team, you also have the opportunity to meet with a registered dietitian, naturopathic oncology provider, and pastorol care team members and other supportive care clinicians. We are committed to helping you get answers to your questions and enjoy greater comfort, convenience and privacy.
At our hospitals, each patient’s treatment plan includes evidence-based cancer treatments like chemotherapy, radiation therapy and surgery as well as supportive therapies designed to manage side effects, improve quality of life and promote healing on all levels — body, mind and spirit.
We work with you to develop a personalized treatment plan tailored to your needs and diagnosis. During your evaluation, your team will complete an array of tests and assessments. Then the team will discuss with you the treatment options that are available for you.
We are committed to bringing advanced treatment options to patients sooner, including highly accurate diagnostic tools; safer, more targeted radiation therapies; minimally invasive surgical techniques; and new targeted drug therapies. We also provide therapies such as naturopathic medicine and nutrition to help you manage side effects and reduce treatment interruptions.
We use advanced diagnostic imaging technology and tools to evaluate every patient. This helps us formulate treatment recommendations best suited to your individual needs.
One technology, the Discovery™ PET/CT 600 scanner , combines two imaging technologies into one machine to detect cancerous cells, often before tumors are present. We use this advanced technology to better inform our treatment planning.
Our experienced surgeons have performed thousands of procedures and will discuss the surgical options that are best suited to your individual needs. We offer new robotic surgery procedures such as CyberKnife® VSI™ Robotic Radiosurgery and da Vinci® Surgical System. These surgeries provide advantages, such as fewer side effects and a faster recovery.
CTCA is one of a select group of hospitals with surgeons who perform these procedures.
We use leading chemotherapy treatments and innovative delivery methods. We may use tests, such as tumor molecular profiling, to identify the most effective drug combination for your disease and help you avoid unnecessary toxicity. Clinicians from areas like nutrition therapy and naturopathic medicine plan for any side effects from the start, and quickly address any symptoms you may experience.
Our infusion centers at each of our hospitals were built with input from our patients, to make sure that they are comfortable and relaxing, and provide necessary amenities, such as snacks, drinks or a book to read.
Your well-being is at the center of everything we do. In addition to offering leading radiation technologies, such as intraoperative radiation therapy (IORT), which delivers a single, powerful dose of radiation directly to a tumor site during surgery, we use radiation therapy to support quality of life after cancer treatment.
For some patients, highly targeted radiation therapies offer a less invasive treatment alternative to more invasive surgical procedures. Your oncologist will discuss whether this approach is an option for you.
