Our oncologists collaborate and strategize with other clinicians, including hospitalists, hematologists, gastroenterologists, urologists, reconstructive surgeons, pulmonologists, radiologists, medical physicists, pathologists, anesthesiologists, pain management specialists, psychologists, naturopaths, dietitians, mind-body therapists, and physical and occupational therapists. Together, these specialists create and implement fully integrated, comprehensive treatment plans customized to each of our patients.
Furthermore, each and every clinician and staff member at CTCA lives out our Patient Empowerment MedicineSM (PEM) philosophy of care. They take time to listen to our patients, answer their questions, and encourage patients to participate in making decisions about their treatment.
