Dr. Muala works closely with his patients’ care providers at CTCA. His goal is to provide the most compassionate care possible to patients and their families.
Originally from Palestine, Dr. Muala grew up in the United States and Jordan. He obtained a bachelor’s degree from the American University of Beirut in Lebanon in 1998. He returned to the United States to attend Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan, where he earned a master’s degree in biological sciences and a medical degree.
Dr. Muala completed an internship in obstetrics and gynecology at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Phoenix, Arizona. He then completed a family practice residency at Natividad Medical Center in Salinas, California, where he served as chief resident.
Dr. Muala joined CTCA in November 2013. He is board certified in family medicine and is a member of the American Medical Association, the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and the American Academy of Family Physicians.
Dr. Muala is fluent in English, Arabic and Spanish.
