If you are visiting CTCA at Western Regional Medical Center (Western) from outside of Phoenix, we can help arrange your lodging during treatment. Since most of our patients (about 70 percent) travel to our hospital from out of town, we have a team in place to help with these details.
Our outpatient accommodations team aims to make your visit as convenient, comfortable and affordable as possible. Our team can be found at the concierge desk, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Our team is also on call 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Western offers onsite accommodations for patients with limited mobility at a reasonable rate, and has partnerships with surrounding hotels that patients and their caregivers can stay at during treatment.
Our onsite accommodations come equipped with a compact refrigerator and freezer, a CD/radio alarm clock with soothing nature sounds and a flat-screen television. From the television, you can access free movies, music, relaxation videos and patient education videos. Most rooms also boast views of the Estrella or White Tank Mountains. Down the hall is a laundry room and game closet stocked with puzzles, board games and card decks.
Getting around town
Our outpatient accommodations team also works with our transportation team, which can take you to and from your lodging site and the hospital, as well as on scheduled trips to area malls, restaurants and other local spots.
