Dr. Brian Acord
Gynecologist
An experienced gynecologist/gynecologic surgeon at Western Regional Medical Center, Dr. Brian Acord works in collaboration with our oncologists to develop personalized treatment plans for patients who are fighting gynecologic malignancies, including cervical, ovarian, uterine, vaginal and vulvar cancers.
A Diplomate of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Dr. Acord earned a medical degree from University of California, Davis School of Medicine. He completed an obstetrics/gynecology internship and residency at Mercy Hospital in San Diego, California.
Prior to pursuing a medical degree, Dr. Acord served in the United States Air Force and completed a bachelor’s degree at California State University, Sacramento.
Dr. Acord practiced obstetrics and gynecology for nearly 30 years in private and group practices in California and Arizona. He joined our integrated team of treatment providers in January 2011.
Dr. Acord likes spending time with his family, as well as gardening, cooking, fishing, pheasant hunting and traveling.
