Traveling to CTCA by car from Albuquerque, New Mexico

Getting to the hospital from Albuquerque is simple. Take Interstate 40 west to Interstate 17 south. From there, merge onto AZ-101 Loop west and take the loop until you reach Interstate 10 west. Take Interstate 10 west to Litchfield Road and head south. The hospital is about a 8-hour drive from downtown Albuquerque. We also have a designated area for RV parking, where for $20 a night you can stay and receive the necessary amenities.

Traveling by plane from Albuquerque, New Mexico

If you are arriving by plane, a transportation representative, wearing a CTCA nametag and holding up a sign with your name, will meet you at baggage claim. The hospital is about 25 miles from Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport.

There are approximately 20 flights from Albuquerque International Sunport to Phoenix every day. The average flight will take one hour.

Travel Policy

CTCA offers, to those who qualify, free roundtrip airline tickets and transportation to and from the airport and the hospital. If you qualify for the Patient Travel Program but prefer to drive, we will reimburse you for the miles. Please note:  If you are a beneficiary of a government health insurance program, such as Medicare, CTCA is not permitted to provide these travel benefits.
