Western Regional Medical Center is the first CTCA hospital to purchase Skylight's ACCESSTM Interactive Patient System. This automated, patient-centered system offers an engaging, personalized hospital experience.
What looks like a flat-panel television at your bedside is actually a portal for education, communication and entertainment options. With the touch of a button, the system allows you to:
- Access treatment information and patient education materials
- Schedule appointments
- Email your family and friends
- Surf the Internet
- Order meals recommended by your dietitian
- Watch movies and access other entertainment options
- Provide real-time feedback about your experience
The hospital is equipped with Access workstations in the hospital’s guest suites, inpatient rooms, infusion areas, and library. The services are available throughout your entire visit.
