Matthew McGuire

Matthew McGuire serves as Senior Vice President of Operations at Cancer Treatment Centers of America (CTCA) at Western Regional Medical Center in Goodyear, Arizona.

A graduate of Wabash College in Indiana, Mr. McGuire joined CTCA in 2000 as part of its management fellow program. After two years as a fellow, Mr. McGuire went on to manage CNCA, a premium dietary supplement provider. He not only became CNCA’s first employee, but its General Manager in charge of development and growth. Today, CNCA serves thousands of people, providing them with the expert nutritional support they need to maintain a healthy lifestyle.

Mr. McGuire joined CTCA at Southwestern Regional Medical Center (Southwestern) in Tulsa, Oklahoma in 2004, spending two years as Director of Marketing. During his tenure, the organization grew by more than 25 percent for two consecutive years. Southwestern became the first CTCA hospital to define regional markets for CTCA and create a concentrated regional marketing strategy.

In 2006, Mr. McGuire was promoted to Vice President of Human Resources. Throughout his five-year term, he worked to fully understand the needs of CTCA employees and create and implement enterprise-wide initiatives that positively affected employees’ lives and drive to improve patient care.

Mr. McGuire has also served on Deloitte’s Healthcare Advisory Board, as well as the Tulsa Junior Achievement Board. He and his wife Meredith have three young children (Gavin, Owen and Evelyn).
