Dr. Bernard Eden: The Varian machine it’s called a Trilogy machine allows us to do something called radiosurgery. So now we can use this machine to focus the radiation on the tumor and on the tumor target and treat that tumor in one large dose of radiation, and spare the radiation going into your normal tissues surrounding that tumor. So, this is a very powerful machine in order to deliver the radiation. Also, it allows us to do what’s called a Cone Beam CT. We actually use the machine to take a CT scan of the treatment area. This allows us to be very accurate, we can make adjustments if necessary to make sure that the radiation is delivered accurately. So, we’re very excited about this machine and we think it’s going to help our patients tremendously.
