Dr. Katherine Puckett: We are treating the whole person, mind, body, and spirit. And that in addition to all of the cutting edge medical services we that we offer, we have many other services too. That would deal with the others part of the person, the mind, the spirit. And we find it most effective if we all work together to coordinate our services. So in mind-body medicine were very offended talking with other providers from other disciplines about how to provide the best possible care for a particular patient or there loved ones.
Dr. Gerald Ellison: Well we believe it is essential that the mind-body connection be highlighted because cancer is often time a very difficult disease to over come. And so drawing on all of the resources available to the person becomes very important. And the energy’s that are available to the person in the drawing on all the resources are much greater than just the energies that would be available if all you were treating is a set of systems or diseases process and no attention to the mind-body connection.
