Eric Johnson: It gives Georgia patients another option. It increases the competition and it creates jobs in a poor economy and good jobs too. So there’s a spin-off even if you hopefully don’t ever need Cancer Treatment Centers of America, that there’s still an economic benefit to Georgia and to Newnan.

Jim Mottola: What this mean to the community from an economic standpoint is tremendous. It’s probably the most important thing from an economic standpoint that, that Ive seen in my lifetime. It means a lot more than economics, obviously it’s something the community will be able to be proud of. As a local business person it, it a lot more money in the economy. I mean their having the patients here, having their family’s here, having the physician population increase. One of the things that I’ve always wanted to see here was the number of physicians relative to the total population get sort of on par, and I think that this, this helps us get there.

George Alexander: I think the a what sums it up is this is very big for Newnan Georgia. You felt the energy inside, the executives for CTCA talking what it was going to do for Newnan. It will bring high quality jobs, that’s a big part, it helps our revenue, it helps our tax base but most of all it, it helps what Newnan is. We want to make Newnan, and Newnan is such a different environment to live in. It’s set apart in the county, it’s set apart in the state, we like to think it’s set apart in the, in the entire United States and you all are making and adding to that difference. You are making us a difference and we deeply appreciate CTCA.

Clayton Hicks: I thought it’s fantastic we had a great turn out. It was a packed house standing room only, which just shows this community’s support for the organization. It shows what a fantastic opportunity this is, not only for the city of Newnan but the entire region from wether it be Florida, Alabama, all over the place. It’s just absolutely fantastic, and I think everybody around here realizes that and with today’s economic times any news like this is certainly worth celebrating, so and I think you saw that today.

Dave LaGuardia: The community, this community, any community would love to have an economic impact of what CTCA is going to represent. It is probably the best, cleanest industry that you could have in your environment. The type of jobs you’re going to bring in, the income level of those, those salary levels, the impact to the local housing, entertainment, school system, that whole thing and more importantly the compounding effect of all of the medical professionals that will be coming in is just absolutely fantastic. And we are so pleased that Newnan was chosen out of thirty some sites, it was a prayer come true for me.

Real Patients. Real Stories. Real Hope.

Do these videos feature real cancer patients?

Yes, the videos in this section feature real CTCA survivors with real stories to tell. These are not actors. They are cancer patients who came to CTCA and emerged as survivors. These stories are not scripted. They are personal accounts of people who found hope, and a voice, at CTCA. This is what they have to say, in their own words...

Why are some, not all, cancer types listed?

At CTCA, we treat individuals with a variety of cancer types. However, all of our survivors are not on film. If you don't see a survivor with the cancer type you're looking for, it only means we do not have a video at this time.

Keep in mind, we are continuously adding videos to this section. If you don't see the one you're looking for today, visit us again, or let us know how we can improve.
