Loretta Swan: When I was told I had lung cancer, it felt like my life was over.

Dr. Daniel Nader: There was still a lot of pneumonia in her lung. She had a tumor that was blocking off her entire right lower lobe. With some radiation therapy, chemotherapy, and brachytherapy we were going to relive that obstruction and take away that pneumonia. I was going to do everything that I could to improve her quality of life. We’re able to utilize that technology to help our patients fight the disease or to make their future as bright as we possibly can. I’m looking to make it a positive experience here.

Loretta Swan: The word remission was just amazing. I couldn’t wait to hear that word.

Dr. Daniel Nader: What’s great is to see that we have given them their best chance for success.

Narrator: Our cancer information specialists are here for you day and night call now and they’ll send you this life changing information showing you how our world class lung program combines with unique therapies to give you treatment options you may not even know exist.

Loretta Swan: I’m a lung cancer survivor. There is just no way to ever say thank you, it means too much.

Real Patients. Real Stories. Real Hope.

Do these videos feature real cancer patients?

Yes, the videos in this section feature real CTCA survivors with real stories to tell. These are not actors. They are cancer patients who came to CTCA and emerged as survivors. These stories are not scripted. They are personal accounts of people who found hope, and a voice, at CTCA. This is what they have to say, in their own words...

Why are some, not all, cancer types listed?

At CTCA, we treat individuals with a variety of cancer types. However, all of our survivors are not on film. If you don't see a survivor with the cancer type you're looking for, it only means we do not have a video at this time.

Keep in mind, we are continuously adding videos to this section. If you don't see the one you're looking for today, visit us again, or let us know how we can improve.
