Daniel Kellman: Oftentimes, with lung cancer there is a multi-modality approach that's being utilized, involving sometimes surgery, also utilizing a chemo-radiation plan, which is a combination of chemotherapy and radiation. The agents that are used might typically be something like carboplatin and taxol, which has a propensity to affect the nerves while people are being treated. And so we have a lot of different things that we can utilize, various nutrients, vitamins, minerals and herbs that can protect the nerves from side effects of those agents. And also getting radiation to anywhere near the lungs can affect the esophagus or other parts of the gastrointestinal tract. So we’re doing things to help protect the lining of that area so that they can continue eating normally and living a fairly normal life while they're getting these treatments.
