Dode Hammack – Hodgkin's Disease Survivor

When Dode Hammack was diagnosed with stage IV Hodgkin's disease in 2001, he followed a friend's advice to call Cancer Treatment Centers of America (CTCA). From medical expertise and advanced cancer treatments, to supportive therapies for his entire being, Dode discovered everything he needed to heal at CTCA.

He says, “It’s not just a place where doctors reside—this is a treatment facility. It’s research; it’s the entire gamut when it comes to cancer treatment. And the unique aspect about it is this all they do is [fight] cancer.”

Why are some, not all, cancer types listed?

At CTCA, we treat individuals with a variety of cancer types. However, all of our survivors are not on film. If you don't see a survivor with the cancer type you're looking for, it only means we do not have a video at this time.
