Liz Gumbert and Jennifer Duch - Breast Cancer Survivors

For Liz Gumbert and daughter, Jennifer Duch, cancer is something far too familiar. With a family history of the BRCA1 gene mutation, they had always kept a close eye on their health. Then it happened - Liz received a diagnosis of cancer, as did Jennifer a few years later.

This dynamic duo found strength in each other and also in Cancer Treatment Centers of America (CTCA).

"[At CTCA] I had a whole team of doctors that gave me a sense of urgency that nobody else gave me. They understood the latest therapies for breast cancer," says Jennifer, "I am very grateful."

Real Patients. Real Stories. Real Hope.

Do these videos feature real cancer patients?

Yes, the videos in this section feature real CTCA survivors with real stories to tell. These are not actors. They are cancer patients who came to CTCA and emerged as survivors. These stories are not scripted. They are personal accounts of people who found hope, and a voice, at CTCA. This is what they have to say, in their own words...

Why are some, not all, cancer types listed?

At CTCA, we treat individuals with a variety of cancer types. However, all of our survivors are not on film. If you don't see a survivor with the cancer type you're looking for, it only means we do not have a video at this time.

Keep in mind, we are continuously adding videos to this section. If you don't see the one you're looking for today, visit us again, or let us know how we can improve.
