What is uterine cancer?
Uterine cancer begins in the uterus, the hollow, pear-shaped organ in a woman’s pelvis where a baby grows during pregnancy.

The American Cancer Society estimates there will be 60,050 new cases of uterine and endometrial cancers diagnosed in the United States in 2016. Approximately 75 percent of these cancers are found in women over the age of 55.
