Radiation Therapy for Testicular Cancer
At Cancer Treatment Centers of America (CTCA), radiation therapy is used to treat some testicular cancers, particularly seminomas which are very sensitive to radiation. It is most often used following surgery, to kill any microscopic traces of cancer in the retroperitoneal lymph nodes and to reduce the chance that the cancer will come back.
