A bronchoscopy is an endoscopy procedure in which a thin, lighted tube connected to a camera is used to examine the airway. Bronchoscopy is often used to look for signs of different types of cancer, particularly lung and esophageal cancers. It may also be used to perform certain procedures such as brachytherapy.
