“At the end of the day, it’s all about the patients. In my 13 years of practice I have never experienced such a compassionate and patient-based approach,” says Dr. Sean Riley, chiropractor at CTCA at Southwestern Regional Medical Center.
Dr. Riley earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology from Oklahoma State University. He then attended Parker College of Chiropractic in Dallas, TX, where he earned an additional Bachelor of Science degree in Anatomy, followed by a Doctor of Chiropractic degree.
Dr. Riley is currently certified by the Oklahoma Board of Chiropractic Examiners and National Board of Chiropractic Examiners.
Prior to joining CTCA in April 2013, Dr. Riley spent 10 years as the Clinical Director at a clinic in Tulsa. He has a special interest in golf-specific training and rehab, physical medicine, movement assessment, treatment and management of neck and low back pain, and integrated medicine.
Of his experience at CTCA, Dr. Riley says he enjoys being part of an integrated team of clinicians working toward the common goal of helping patients.
At CTCA, I enjoy being part of an integrated team delivering advanced care to our patients. The assimilation of providers from multiple different specialties under one roof truly defines integrated care,” he says.
Dr. Riley adds: “I’m just one piece of the puzzle in this integrated approach. My job is to provide conservative treatment options for neck and low back pain while relieving pain and increasing function. This not only includes chiropractic treatment, but activity modification and self-management options. I want to empower patients with the tools to help themselves.”
Dr. Riley is a board member of the Oklahoma State Chiropractic Independent Physicians Association (OSCIPA), a member of the USGA Wellness Staff, and a Certified Medical Provider with The Titleist Performance Institute.
Dr. Riley and his wife Karen, who practices pediatric speech pathology, reside in Tulsa and have one son. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, playing golf and cooking.
