Dr. Kyle Flowers is an Interventional Radiologist at Cancer Treatment Centers of America® (CTCA) in Tulsa. Dedicated to patient care, he was drawn to the environment at CTCA®. “I greatly enjoy the relationships I get to build with patients here,” Dr. Flowers says, “and I’m thankful to have the time for that vital aspect of health care.”

A longtime Oklahoman, Dr. Flowers attended the University of Central Oklahoma, where he completed his Bachelor of Science degree in biology. During his undergraduate years, Dr. Flowers was already working in health care, serving as a field supervisor for an ambulance service and caring for patients in the emergency room of a local hospital.

He earned his Master of Business Administration degree and Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine from Oklahoma State University. He remained at Oklahoma State University for his internship and residency in radiology, serving as chief resident in his final year. After his residency, Dr. Flowers completed a fellowship in interventional radiology at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. Dr. Flowers has trained and provided care in a wide range of medical areas, including ophthalmology, surgery, obstetrics/gynecology, cardiology and anesthesiology, among others.

At CTCA, Dr. Flowers treats liver cancer and metastatic liver disease. He employs a range of therapeutic approaches, including Y90, chemoembolization and microwave ablation.

Dr. Flowers is a member of the osteopathic honors fraternity Sigma Sigma Phi, the American College of Osteopathic Emergency Physicians and the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians. He has taught aspects of advanced lifesaving to paramedics, nurses and physicians. He has also volunteered his time, providing health screenings and education to underserved populations in Oklahoma.
