If you decide to travel to CTCA at Southwestern Regional Medical Center (Southwestern) for treatment, our Transportation Department works closely with our travel schedulers to make your trip as comfortable and stress-free as possible.
Prior to your arrival at Southwestern, our representatives will coordinate all of the details for you, from your air travel to lodging arrangements to anything else you may need. Then, from the minute you arrive, the transportation team is at your service.
If you're traveling from out of town, we'll pick you up from the airport. During your stay, we'll take you to offsite medical appointments and special outings.
Our transportation team
From the minute you arrive in Tulsa, our Transportation Department is at your service. The transportation team consists of friendly and reliable transportation representatives, including drivers and dispatchers.We understand you may be apprehensive about traveling. The transportation team is here to help you feel comfortable and relaxed.
If you are coming to us by plane, a driver will greet you at the airport. He or she will monitor the status of your flight to make sure they are there when you arrive.
When your plane arrives, the driver will typically be waiting near baggage claim, holding a sign with your name on it. Your driver will then load your luggage for you and drive you to the hospital.
We also offer a free shuttle service, within a five mile radius, which you can use to get to and from the hospital and your nearby lodging. Our transportation team also makes home pickups in nearby towns within a 20 mile radius. The team will take you and your caregivers to restaurants, malls, museums and other local spots (i.e., Woodland Hills Mall, Super Wal-Mart, Target, etc.).
We also provide complimentary valet parking for patients and caregivers Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., and on Sundays from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m.
