Dr. Raymond F. Sorensen, a pain management specialist at CTCA at Southwestern Regional Medical Center, is dedicated to making cancer treatment as comfortable as possible for his patients.
Dr. Sorensen has extensive experience in pain management issues. Prior to joining CTCA, he ran private practices in both pain management and anesthesiology.
Dr. Sorensen earned a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the College of Osteopathic Medicine and Surgery in Des Moines, Iowa. He completed an anesthesiology residency at Riverside Osteopathic Hospital in Saginaw, Michigan and a fellowship at Children’s Hospital in Detroit. Dr. Sorensen is board-certified in pain management and anesthesiology.
In addition, as a Diplomat of the American Academy of Pain Management, Dr. Sorensen serves as principal investigator in numerous clinical trials related to pain management.
