Breast Surgeon
As a breast cancer surgeon at Cancer Treatment Centers of America (CTCA) at Southwestern Regional Medical Center, Dr. John Frame provides personalized evaluations and treatments to breast cancer patients. In particular, he has significant experience in performing breast conservation surgery.

Dr. Frame is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a Diplomate of the American Board of Surgery. Board certified by the American Board of Surgery, he earned a medical degree from Washington University School of Medicine. Dr. Frame completed a surgical internship and residency at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center, where he served as Chief Resident in surgery. He also completed a research fellowship in cardiovascular surgery at Duke University Medical Center.
Before pursuing a medical degree, Dr. Frame obtained a bachelor’s of science degree from the University of Oklahoma.
Dr. Frame has been in private practice as a surgeon since 1984. He has also served as Chairman of the Department of Surgery at Saint Francis Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma, as well as Medical Director of Saint Francis’s Breast Center. Additionally, Dr. Frame has been the Cancer Liaison Program Chairman for Oklahoma for the American College of Surgeons.
Dr. Frame has served on the board of directors at Saint Francis Health System and Summit Bank in Tulsa. He is a member of a number of medical associations, including the American Society of Breast Surgeons and the Society for the Study of Breast Diseases. His work has been published in renowned clinical publications, including Surgical Forum and the American Journal of Surgery.
Dr. Frame has been married to his wife for more than 30 years. They have two grown children. In his spare time, he enjoys traveling with his wife, playing golf, listening to music and spending time with friends.
